Runner's Aid Kit

I made 3 purchases since last Friday to help with my running, and it's all, ALL, for loosening up my muscles and keeping my legs together.

Anybody else have a budget set aside for things like this?

Tuesdays on the Run with PattyErika, and Marcia.

  1. I definitely use the tape and biofreeze! Haven't seen that stick before...do you like it?

    1. So far it's been great. I can get to leverage on smaller knots.

  2. Sometimes I feel like I need a budget just for the things that will help to keep me healthy! I am buying tape pretty often.

    1. I am too. I found a place in Boulder that sells it, so it's easy to get.

  5. I don't set a budget for those things but will get them when the need strikes. Since I've had so many injuries I'm pretty stocked with all that stuff now...lol

    1. I know where to get them, and I'm sure I'm on my way to being a regular.

  6. Seriously, I need to buy stock in Rocketape. I will go months & months not needing it -- then I need it!

I toyed with the idea of not taping my good knee for my race. It's never really bothered me, just a twinge here & there. And then I thought just do it, so I did.

Interestingly, the tape on good knee came off at about mile 9 (humidity), but the tape on my bad knee adhered the whole race & beyond.

    1. My left knee had been the good knee, and now I'm paranoid. I need to be sponsored by RockTape since I use it so much.
